Aspire Football Club: A grass root football club in Anambra State.
We are poised to create opportunities for adolescent youths to engage themselves positively through sports and total wellbeing. We have demonstrated interests in promoting football in Anambra State and in Nigeria at large by being a unique avenue football talents are identified and engaged.
Founded in 2018, aspire football club has shown that it has come to claim a decisive spot in Anambra football and in Nigeria at large.
At the end of the 2019 football season which was her maiden season, Aspire FC became the Amateur II league champions winning six of her matches and drawing just two. A player from the club bagged the golden boot for the competition while the club was meritoriously promoted to the Nigerian championship league.
In another feat in the same football season, Aspire FC went ahead to win the Anambra FA cup, winning Ifeanyi Uba FC in the finals and becoming the first amateur team to win the cup in recent past. Since then, Aspire FC have participated in many other competitions notably the Bayern Munich Under 15 youth championship. At the conclusion of this event, a player from Aspire FC was selected to be part of the team that will represent Nigeria at Bayern in May, 2020.
