08 Mar ASPIRE FC UNVEILS NEW OFFICIAL JERSEYS
Reigning Anambra football champions, Aspire FC, on March 7, 2021, unveiled a new set of official jerseys ahead of their 2021 national football league campaign. The jerseys which consist of their distinctive yellow & black home outfit and an all-blue away outfit also featured an all-green goalkeeper outfit and an orange club officials’ outfit. The jerseys were also unveiled with matching soccer boots, a long hose, and goalkeeper hand-gloves.
In a statement by the Club President, Mr. Patrick Ubaka Okeke, the president said that this was an effort to make the champions outstanding while on the pitch, boost the players’ and management’s morale and infuse a whole new level of enthusiasm into the players about the oncoming league campaign. Aspire FC team manager, Mr. Augustine Okoye, further said that the new face of Aspire FC will go a long way in making sure that the players feel well engaged by the club and will encourage them to remain outstanding and put in their best as a team. He said that the team, who was camping at Okigwe ahead of the start of the league, is currently focused on coming out once again as champions exhibiting the football excellence and discipline the team is generally known for.
The players were quite excited about their new look and readily posed for pictures in the new attire. They further said that they hoped to replicate again their winning spree which saw them become the league champions and the FA champions in 2019. It can be recalled that the 2020 football season could not hold due to the COVID 19 Pandemic and March 2021 marks the beginning of the new season for Aspire FC.
